Overview

Ladakh offers very interesting trekking routes for trekkers. Trekking possibilities include short, day-long walks up and down mountain slopes to visit isolated villages or monastic settlements, or across a ridge to enjoy the sheer beauty of the lunar mountain-scape. Or long, trans-mountain treks involving weeks of walking and camping in the wilderness. Ladakh is rich in wildlife, you may come across some rare species like snow leopard, Black-necked crane, Tibetan wild ass, gazelles, ibex, ureals, Ovis Ammon or shape, etc. You are sure to see Yak and Demos grazing on mountain pastures. All these may go to make your trek in this region a memorable moment, the experience of a lifetime.

ITINERARY

On arrival, pick p and transfer to the hotel. After welcome tea and coffee, rest for the whole day & and let your body take complete acclimatization. Late afternoon, if health permits, drive to Shanti Stupa & stay back - Overnight Hotel

After breakfast full day sightseeing of Shey, Thicksey & Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings,where you can see the 36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey: The twelve storeyed monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island of Mountain. Final visit; Hemis: Farthest way from Leh, and famous for Ladakh festival held in each summer. Evening return. Overnight stay

After an early breakfast, drive to beautiful Nubra valley via Khardungla (The Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) & visit Diskit monastery with the zig-zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check-in Hotel / Camp. Afternoon enjoys the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel. Overnight at Nubra.
